Apex Systems is seeking multiple Research Associate II’s to join our esteemed pharmaceutical manufacturing client in Oro Valley, AZ. We are looking to screen and submit qualified candidates as early as this week.
Job Title: Research Associate II
Schedule: M-F normal business hours
Compensation: $27/hr ($40.50/hr for overtime hours when/if applicable)

Responsibilities:
- Design experimental protocols with minimal supervision.
- Execute bench experiments, make detailed and general observations, and analyze data.
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses.
- Maintain complete and accurate records.
- Receive general directions on routine work and detailed directions on new assignments.
- Suggest improvements to work processes and the laboratory environment.
- Assist in identifying and developing patentable inventions.
- Work on problems of diverse scope, requiring evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies to select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Participate in cross-functional technical teams, such as failure investigation teams.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment, suggesting creative solutions to problems and providing input to project planning.
- Train others in areas of expertise.
- Troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present experimental procedures and results to groups and project teams.
- Monitor work to ensure quality and continuously promote Quality First Time.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in basic and specialized laboratory techniques.
- Capable of searching scientific literature to gain information on specific topics.
- Skilled in using word processing, spreadsheets, graphical, and presentation software applications.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Will train qualified candidates if accepted.
